The high end version of AiR-force PRION rear shock is the travel lock version: AiR-force PRION TL.
TL (Travel Lock) is the optimum between lock out and open travel.
TL mode allows limiting travel for short uphill climbs and pedalling while standing. The lock out setting can adjust the pressure stage from full travel down to lock out position, where 20% travel remains. Advantage over standard lock out systems, where suspension is blocked in lock out mode, is that our lockout still enables the bike to react to little bumps.
Regulating the travel lock is done from the handlebars via an optional remote control. The remote is available through our web shop. Different remotes can not be used, because the travels of the remote and of the travel lock need to have defined proportions.
Just as the standard version, AiR-force PRION TL is equipped with a gas-pressurised spring, which is it not only responsible for its light weight, but also for adaptation to each driver. You can continuously control and set the shock, using oil hydraulic. The double chamber air system provides a damping characteristic, comfortable in the beginning, but progressive towards the end.
Thus, PRION TL provides smooth behaviour on little bumps but also the necessary backup on big impacts.
The double chamber air system is filled through a refill valve. Ventilation of the negative chamber is done automatically via an overflow valve.
